My furniture is designed and built to be one off original pieces,
exploring many different styles and influences from classic, mission,
south western as well as victorian and then many other pieces that would
not fall into a specific catagory. Every piece I create is hand made
and hand carved. As much effort goes into the furniture piece as I put
into the carvings that are incorporated. As a general rule a client
will tell me about the kind of piece they require and what its intended
function is to be. Once I have discussed this in great detail I will
move to the design phase and submit as many pencil sketches as it
requires to ensure that there is conplete understanding. This has
always proven to be highly effective.
I use the same approach for my sculpture and offer these in any size the
client requires. This can be three dimensional or bass relief used as
architectural panels, wall hangings etc. The theme could be whatever
the client desires.
